The Governor's Message

Thank you for the opportunity and the privilege to serve District 16 C as your Governor for 2008 - 2009. It is my hope to serve you with the honor and respect that this office commands.
Our International President Al Brandel speaks of "Miracles Through Service." For us as Lions it is such an easy concept. We do it everyday! We make Miracles happen each time our clubs perform a hands on service project. Our monthly Activity Reports hopefully will reflect our Miracles this year.
Another thought he projects is that we are "Everyday Heroes" performing those miracles. We need more "Everyday Heroes!" Please, help by finding the everyday heroes in your local communities and ask them to become Lions.
Here in District 16 C communication must be re-established. Our new Web Site is up and running thanks to the diligent, hard work of Webmaster Hal Wasserman of the Winslow Township Lions Club. lionsdistrict16c.org Visit and post your events on the web site. It's a great tool to let perspective "Heroes" know what we do as Lions.
The Governor's Gazette is re-established to better inform each club. Presidents and Secretaries please make copies to distribute to your members. Send your articles to the Governor to make sure your club gets mentioned. Thank you to Lawrence Ragone III of the Camden Lions Club for his hard work as Editor of the Governor's Gazette. Working with Lion Hal Wasserman, the Gazette will also be available on the District Web Site.
Remember, you, the Everyday Heroes of District 16 C, perform these "Miracles Through Service" and together we can make this District great once more!
