District 16-C Walk For The Cure

A check for $2,350 from the Lions District 16-C walk for Juvenile Diabetes, held on April 25th was presented by Governor Fred Niji and Chair Jean Poper to Stephen Blocher of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Participation in this year's event consisted of 13 Lion Clubs from our District.
This project is a key part of the Lions program and provides Funding for the Cure of Juvenile Diabetes. Since Juvenile Diabetes is both a District and State project, each club is asked to consider budgeting for next years District walk.
