Lindenwold Lions Honors Local Girl

Eleven year old Reshma Patel, a student at Lindenwold Middle School, was recognized as a local winner of the 2008-09 International Peace Poster Contest.
At a regular dinner meeting of the Lindenwold Lions Club, Reshma was presented with a $50.00 Savings Bond and a certificate for her participation in the contest. Her art teacher, Heather Tierno, as well as her father, were also in attendance to enjoy the honor. When asked what her inspiration was for the contest theme "Peace Begins With Me", Reshma replied, "If you like everyone then everyone will like you". OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES!
