Longtime member of the Galloway Twp Lions Club Passed Away

Francis Edward DiStafano Sr., a longtime member of the Galloway Twp Lions Club, passed away on November 14, 2008. He served as President, past Vice-District Governor 16-C and administrator of the John D Young Lions Blind Center. He was an avid collector of antique cars and trucks.
Survived by his loving wife Kareen (Corkie) DiStefano, daughter, Dawn (John) O'Shea of Egg Harbor City, son, Christopher DiStefano of Absecon and predeceased by his son Francis DiStefano Jr., grandchildren, John and Brian O'Shea, Meghann, Amanda, Brittney and Alexis DiStefano. Also survived by his beloved dog Daisy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Assumption, Pitney Rd, Galloway, where the viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial will follow Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John D Young Lions Blind Center or a charity of donors choice. Arrangements by Lowenstein Funeral Home, Galloway.
